The IELTS test can be a little challenging if you prepare well enough. To get good points, it is also important that you prepare well in time. It is a three-hour test that assesses all four language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.





IELTS Listening test tips





1. Most importantly: check if the headphones are working, if not, raise your hand.

2. Use the time prepared for the questions. Read them before you start recording.

3. Listen carefully to the recording and focus more on the answers than on everything you understand. 4. Remember that the recording is played only once.

5. Make a note of the question paper as you listen to the recording.

6. Write the word limit for each question.

7. Check and correct spelling and grammar errors before submitting.



8. Try to use all capital letters in your answers.
